SELF DRIVE EXPEDITIONS IN ICELAND

Since 2004 OneLife Adventure has specialised in 4x4 holidays and off road adventure expeditions for the owners of all types of 4x4 off road vehicle. New for 2011, we are very pleased to be appointed as Arctic Trucks Experience's UK agent for their fantastic self drive tours in Iceland. Iceland has got harder and more expensive to get to with your own vehicle, but now you can fly/drive there in what are some of the best 4x4 trucks available today

- an Arctic Trucks super 4x4.

Only few people have had the opportunity to sit

behind the wheel of these powerful 4x4's in one

of the world’s most unique places.....  Iceland ; a

highly developed country yet physically cut off

from every other continent by several thousand

miles, diverse topography with glaciers, lava

tundra, green fields and mountains.

Arctic Trucks and OneLife Adventure can now make it possible for you to experience the remote areas of Iceland in cars that are known all over the world because of the BBC television show Top Gear. We offer guided self drive tours in Iceland in the exact cars that went to the Magnetic Pole, drove into live volcano's with Jeremy and James, not to mention drove to the South Pole in 2008. In short, these incredible trucks can take you safely to some of the worlds most remote areas

All the vehicles are prepared and maintained with your safety in mind, while you drive your own vehicle a experienced Arctic Trucks guide accompanies you, ready to give advice and assistance.

We can offer 3-5 day guided trips in both winter and summer, and a 10 day trip in the summer, where its possible for you to explore Iceland on your own, with the help of a pre-programmed GPS unit, backed up with VHF radio units fitted to all the trucks. We can customise all the trips to meet your needs, using our experience of Iceland to help you discover all it has to offer. An example 4 day itinerary is show here to give you an indication of what's possible
